The Department of Biomechatronic Engineering at the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) has researched various fields for many years, including smart agriculture, bioenergy, detection technologies, biomedical chips, and agricultural machinery.
This project aims to extend the practical research conducted at NPUST to international students, with each internship lasting at least three months. The focus of the internship project is the development of testing technology for agricultural products. Biological monitoring is a crucial aspect of smart agriculture. The research planned by the host will include three sections within biological monitoring: optomechanical integration, the Internet of Things (IoT), and agricultural product quality testing.
Each student will receive a monthly TEEP scholarship of NT$10,000 and will have the opportunity to live on the NPUST campus. The department at NPUST is committed to offering international students a rich educational experience, exposing them to diverse cultural perspectives and fostering international cooperation and exchange. This initiative aims to enhance students' language skills and help develop them into well-rounded, professional individuals with a global outlook.
