My recently research interests:
1. Dating the Tatun volcanic in Northern Taiwan
2. Evolution of the Luzon Arc and Philippine
3. Mountain building process including Taiwan, Mindoro (Philippine)
4. Thermo-mechanical modeling of geological process
The internship program will provide comprehensive training for interns in various laboratory equipment, including petrography / mineralogy (microscopes, Raman Spectrometer), geochemistry (ICPMS, ICP-OES), geochronology (Zircon U-Pb dating, Apatite Fission Track dating) and thermomechanical modeling. Field visits to the study areas will also be included. We will provide for funding, which will cover airfare, accommodation, and a food allowance for the interns.
