Our lab is joining a nation-wide project on quantum technology to build a scalable superconducting quantum computer, from the year of 2022 to 2028. We are looking for members who are interested in quantum circuit modeling and structure design, quantum circuit characterization and data analysis, mitigation of control and readout errors. The internship program will provide the training of finite-element simulations on microwave structures, quantum system modeling, and basic experimental skills in quantum circuit characterization, depending on the intern's interest.

Tasks include, but are not limited to
-Microwave structuring: To design the microwave structures and to conduct finite-element simulations of quantum circuits.
-Quantum system modeling: To perform numerical calculations on the complicated quantum systems with external driving and dissipations.
-Optimizing quantum operations: To develop automatic functions for optimizing operations of a practical quantum computer.
