This proposal seeks to investigate the design of membranes for the removal of bacteria and their degradation from water on the one hand, and for the removal of perfluorooctanoic acid emerging pollutant on the other hand, both with the aim to improve the decontamination processes of wastewater. Candidates should be BSc or MSc students in the field of chemical engineering. They will conduct their research project at the R&D Center for Membrane Technology of CYCU, and will stay for a duration of 6 months. All communications will be in English.
