Overview:
National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) is located in the southernmost part of Taiwan and is renowned as a green university. The Department of Veterinary Medicine at this university has a long history and is known for producing the highest number of veterinary graduates in Taiwan. This program is sponsored by the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the affiliated Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and provides internship opportunities ranging from basic to clinical experiences.

1. Small Animal Surgery
2. Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (XR, US, CT, MRI)
3. Small Animal Rehabilitation Medicine
4. Large Animal Clinical Practice
5. Management and Diagnosis of Poultry/Swine/Fish diseases
6. Wildlife medicine

Eligibility:
1. Students in the Department of Veterinary Medicine who are in their second year or above, including graduate students.
2. Strong interest in clinical medicine or basic research.
3. Adequate English communication skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into a team.
5. Commitment to participating in the internship for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Applicants can choose to participate in internships in small animal clinical practice, diagnostic imaging, large animal medicine, or economic animal medicine, and the following learning opportunities could be provided:
1. Participate in research projects or clinical practice.
2. The ability of research design and data analysis.
3. Reading and interpreting journal articles.

Applicants are required to provide the following documents:
1. Personal profile (including proficiency in English).
2. Statement of motivation.
3. Desired internship content and duration.
