Photonic Nanostructures and Device Laboratory of National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan plans to offer several internship opportunities of 2-6 months for young and talented students to conduct research on topics of semiconductors, Silicon photonics, photonic devices, and optical biosensors. The TEEP scholarship covers partial airfare, on-campus accommodation, and monthly stipend.

Our group at National Chung Cheng University, one of the world-leading research groups in the field of silicon photonics and optical biosensors, is working on developing (a) new types of silicon-based, CMOS compatible photodetectors, which have many advantages over conventional III-V based counterparts for mid-infrared applications, (b) new disposable optical biosensors for cost-effective and rapid biomedical detection for precise medicine.

This internship program is open for hard-working talents who are interested in advanced semiconductor and optoelectronic-sensing technologies. Focus will be placed on designing, fabricating, and characterizing new Si-based group-IV photodetectors and optical biosensors. Students who plan to continue MS or PHD study in Taiwan are more encouraged to apply for the internship. Please prepare your CV and feel free to contact us for the internship. Consider joining our research team at National Chung Cheng University to create a successful career now.
