Program Overview:
This multi-disciplinary program is tailored to students pursuing graduate studies in the biomedical, medical technology, and related academic fields. It is designed for those currently pursuing their bachelor's degree and looking to advance to a master or PhD program in these fields. The courses are supported by the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology and health care-related academic programs at YPU, covering topics such as clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, serology, molecular diagnostics and more.

Program Highlights:
1. Explore Medical Technology through Lectures: Discover the world of a clinical laboratory, where you'll use modern tools and techniques to diagnose disease-causing genes, proteins and metabolites as well as identifying blood cells and pathogens.
2. Research Laboratory Internship: Work side-by-side with our researchers on real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience and receiving mentorship from experts of biomedical research.
3. Industrial and Clinical Laboratory Tours: Visits to leading industrial and clinical laboratories in Taiwan. Learn to translate research from bench to bedside.
4. Attend the YPU International Students Conference and the Joint Annual Conference on Biomedical Science(JACBS): Participate JACBS, the largest biomedical meeting, in Taiwan. Interact with experts and learn cutting-edge technologies with research and clinical applications.

Accommodation:
Students will be offered comfortable accommodation in a university dormitory.

Scholarship/Grants:
1. Candidate will receive a monthly scholarship based on the availability in the budget to cover cultural excursions and living expenses, including accommodation, transportation and meals.
2. Free language and culture classes on campus will help the candidate understand Chinese and culture, making it easier to adapt and communicate in Taiwan.
3. We'll offer a complimentary airport pickup service for the candidates.
