Interpersonal communication serves as the foundation of human society, enabling the exchange of personal experiences, innovative ideas, and collaborative teamwork. Understanding the neural mechanisms that underlie effective communication can potentially facilitate interpersonal interaction and the communication of messages of public interest.

This project delves into the inter- and intra-brain neural dynamics underlying effective communication, using real-life experimental settings including storytelling, movies, and hypnotic sessions. The research incorporates behavioral experiments and functional magnetic imaging (fMRI).

Participants will actively contribute to experiment design, execution, and data analysis during the expected 6-month duration, with a monthly stipend of NT$12,000 provided. Ideal for those interested in coding (Matlab, Python) and exploring the neuroscience of naturalistic communication.
