This project focuses on (1) integrating computers, cameras, and electronics into postharvest processing systems for the automatic sorting, grading and mechanical tests of small fruits and (2) the mechanical and texture property tests of agriculture products such as rubber materials and dry fruits. Different rubber materials' mechanical properties will be investigated using a bi-axial tensile test system, and the texture properties of fruits dried by different methods will be investigated.
