Broadband Mobile Wireless Laboratory (BMW Lab.) is looking for intern students who are interesting in taking the master program in NTUST for the fields of 5G network and/or Internet-of-Things (IoT). Students with good programming skills (C/C++/Python) or familiar with machine learning tools (e.g. TensorFlow™) are preferred. - For 5G, intern students will learn from the OpenAirInterface (OAI), Mosaic.5G, or O-RAN open source projects. Students may work with us in studying the related standards and developing protocol stacks for NB-IoT or 5G New Radio (NR) base station with EURECOM, France; or develop smart control algorithms for massive IoT systems. - For IoT, intern students will learn from a Smart Campus project. Students may work with us to enhance the features (e.g., design new services, ThingWorx feature enhancement, PWA APP development, cyber physical system (CPS) for drinking fountain, etc.). - Intern students who are good at machine learning can develop smart control algorithms based on the data collected from 5G or IoT project. We are looking for talent students who are eager to learn. This is the 3rd year for BMW Lab. to host TEEP intern students. After the application, students will be assigned by the background knowledge required to conduct the research. Only those who can keep their promises to UPDATE their PROGRESS on Trello EVERY WEEK can get the intern opportunity. During the past two years, most of the intern students completed amazing work during the summer since they were well-prepared for this program.
