The project's objective is to promote "Slow Food" Agriculture by connecting the experiences from Taiwan and Thailand. Slow food agriculture places a strong emphasis on the importance of re-establishing the connection between farms and food with the local community. It highlights the significance of local food systems, community involvement, and environmental sustainability. The project aims to recruit graduate and undergraduate students who have an interest or specialization in agriculture, community work, food production, and related fields in Thailand, particularly those with experience in ASEAN BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) initiatives, which would be highly beneficial. These students will stay in the Dalin community, Jiayi county, for a period of approximately two months or more, between January 2024 and November 2024, depending on their individual internship plans. Nanhua University's USR Project has been active in Dalin for seven years. The students will receive guidance and actively participate in the various fields of the USR project that has been addressing topics such as slow food, agricultural tourism, agricultural sustainability, and community innovation. The funding will primarily cover the students' transportation, living expenses, and other administrative fees.
