Microbiome Metagenomics Industry-University Internship Program Microbial metagenomics analyzes and studies microbial populations through non-culture and high-throughput genome technology. It is mainly used to understand microorganisms with growth regulation, health promotion, or disease resistance effects on animals and plants. The signal transduction mechanisms within the microbiome include quorum sensing, disease prevention and treatment, symbiosis mechanism, pathogenic mechanism, etc. In addition, the screening and functional analysis of microorganisms in specific environments are also important. This project plans to conduct an industry-university internship course on the whole genome of microorganisms, allowing students to learn the methods and technical platforms of metagenomics of microorganisms and explore the microbial flora of animal intestines, plant rhizosphere microorganisms, and environmental microorganisms. to understand the signal transduction mechanism between microorganisms and between animals, plants, and microorganisms, and to develop beneficial microorganisms as adjuvants for immune promotion, health regulation, and disease prevention, as well as preparations for ecological environment sustainability and remediation. In order to train students to become professionals in microbial metagenomics, promote cooperation among international teams, and continue to invest in research and applications in related fields of microbial metagenomics in the future.
