Our goal is to create robots that can participate in athletic competitions with human beings. To achieve this, the robots need to operate in complex and dynamic settings with human-like proficiency and precision. This entails that a robot possess comparable skills in visual perception, movement coordination, and logical inference as humans. We are actively participating in the Federation of International Robot-Sports Association (FIRA) HuorCup competition with our humanoid robots. HuroCup is the most challenging competition for humanoid robots, since a single humanoid robot must compete in a decathlon in various events such as sprint, soccer, basketball, archery, rock climbing, and marathon. In 2024, we would like to focus on rock climbing robots. We are also developing an autonomous toy car for FIRA Autonomous Car challenge.
