This program focuses on cancer precision medicine in solid cancer. The primary targets are membrane proteins. We applied (1) data mining, (2) clinical specimens, (3) in vitro (cellular), and (4) animal models to identify the targets and validate their clinical significance, underlying molecular mechanisms, and in vitro and in vivo functions. For targeted therapies, we screen for (5) aptamers (agonists for tumor suppressors and antagonists for oncogenes) and optimize the aptamers with high affinity. (6) The development of nanoparticle conjugates aptamers and chemo drugs for targeted therapy.
