We would like to investigate the passivation layers of passivated emitter and real cell (PERC) Si solar cells. Students need the have the background knowledge of mechanisms of Si solar cells. We have Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) system to deposit Al2O3 passivation layer. After joining our group, TEEP students should investigate how to develop high-quality Al2O3 films. Students also need to study the degradation and regeneration mechanism of Light and Elevated Temperature Induced Degradation (LeTID) behaviors of PERC solar cells. The scholarships monthly allowance of NTD $15000 is provided for at most 6 months for each student. However, TEEP students need to pay the internship fee NTD $ 1000/ per 10 days to our school (NDHU). The support is for students for USA or Central and Eastern European Students in principle.
