At National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), we explore the advanced semiconductor technologies for the next-generation electronics that can highly benefit human beings. With the intense collaborations with neighboring research hubs and the leading industries in Hsinchu science park, NYCU has been successfully nurturing with lots of outstanding talents dedicated in semiconductor technologies.

In 2015, International College of Semiconductor Technology (ICST) at NYCU, the first college in the world that is oriented toward the semiconductor industry, is established to cultivate high-level talents with globally mobile, employable and cross-disciplinary capabilities. Therefore, ICST at NYCU is the ideal place for the international talents to broaden the visions with the advanced semiconductor technologies.

At NYCU WLab led by Prof. Tian-Li Wu, we are dedicated to the advanced electronic devices for the energy-efficient innovations. Our researches focus on 1) GaN and SiC power semiconductor and electronics, 2) Advanced semiconductor materials and devices for sub-5nm logic, 3) Industrial relevant reliability evaluation and degradation mechanism analysis, and 4) AI-assisted semiconductor device designs.

Internship students can learn the professional knowledge related to semiconductor device designs, fabrications, measurement, and reliability analyses and access the state-of-the-art facilities to have the hands-on experiences, further broadening the career horizons in leading Taiwan and worldwide semiconductor industries.
