SEARCH PROGRAMS

This program focuses on the integration of robotic arms, machine vision devices and conveyor systems for surface defect detection of fruits during postharvest processing. A collaborate robotic arm (TM5-700) with 3D vision system will be used, and a PLC (Omron NX1-9000) based Cartesian robot arm will be developed for the pick and place of fruits during fruit sorting. The internal properties of fruits will be evaluated by spectrometer, Brix/Acid meter and texture profile analyzer.
