China Medical University is a medical university with the history and characteristics in developing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical research in the country. Over the years, many international TCM students have come to do clinical practice. Based on the existing international connection, this project intends to invite international outstanding young medical students to conduct short-term internships for clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine. The clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine at China Medical University is conducted in a cross-field and multidisciplinary manner, with traditional Chinese medicine as the main body, combined with various disciplines of western medicine, epidemiology, basic medicine, medical engineering, medical information, etc., to conduct relevant clinical trials, data exploration and technology research and development.

During the program period, trainees will learn how to integrate clinical practice and medical research, and to use research methods to solve clinical problems in TCM. The principle of application for funding is 15,000 per month to subsidize students' living and internship-related expenses in Taiwan. This program is only limited to participants with medical background.
