This program focuses on basic research and translational medicine, specifically cutting-edge therapeutic strategies for cancer prevention and treatment. Courses are classified into four main categories (Cancer Research Experimental Design, New Drug R&D, Precision Medicine, and Bioinformatics Informatics), laying the foundation for independent thinking and judgment, innovative thinking and problem solving, and the technical aspects of conducting research.

This program offers students a great opportunity to build their careers with excellent research support. We recruit top students from around the world, and provide them with a strong curriculum of interdisciplinary training as well as a learning environment where students work with many research specialists. Participants that have successfully completed the program may be considered for fully-funded scholarships offered by TMU’s Master Program or Ph.D. program of Cancer Biology and Drug Development at Taipei Medical University. The participant will be eligible to receive a monthly living subsidy: TWD 15,000/month.
