This project aims to explore the anti-inflammatory compounds and construct chemical and biological profiles of the macroalgae collected from the waters of Taiwan.

Furthermore, this study will (1) establish their natural products isolation strategies based on bioactive-guide methodology and HPLC analysis; (2) measure out potential bioactive compounds using biological activity screening platform for structure-activity relationship analysis; (3) establish the quality control conditions of medicinal macroalgae for the research and the development of biotech products and medicines.
