1. Each student for this TEEP program will be funded with a monthly stipend of NT$15,000 (about US$500) for a duration of 4 months. The stipend can be spent on round-trip airfare, food, local accommodation and transportation for the stay in Taiwan. Students from the United States, the UK and other European countries will be offered additional funds for their airfares. 2. TEEP students’ main duty is to work as after-class English tutors, helping children from less privileged families with their English language learning. 3. TEEP students will also be asked to do English-related odds and ends, such as English interpretation, editing, and translation for community service or local museums when available.
