In this post-genomic era, the massive amount of biological information has greatly advanced the medical research. Translational medicine, also referred to as translational science or translational research, is a rapidly developing biomedical discipline that attempts to build a bridge between laboratories and clinical application. The ultimate goal is to accelerate research innovations transforming into clinical needs, including new health products, medications, and theranostic methods, or to solve existing health problems through basic research.

Interdisciplinary and Translational Medicine Internship Training Program aims to provide participants with insights into ground-breaking research and to develop interdisciplinary capacity in the field of translational medicine.

The course is divided into three parts:
(1) Professional lectures
(2) Laboratory internship
(3) Industrial and biomedical institutional visit.
