The intern research program is to explore the SOTA deep learning methods and their applications in autonomous vehicles, video processing, computer vision, and multimedia systems. Specifically, the possible topics include small object detection for ADAS systems, LiDar-based 3D object detection, LiDar, camera, Radar fusion for 3D scene understanding, Signal enhancement and restoration for image/point cloud, 3D scene representation, novel view synthesis, mixed reality, surveillance system, etc.

In this intern program, the students will learn:
- How to read a research paper, organize the main idea, and prepare the presentation. - How to implement your ideas in the programing language.
- How to cooperate in teamwork.
- Advanced techniques in Image Processing, Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

We would provide partial stipend support and provide research facilities. The candidates are required to show their research interests and abilities in their resumes and supporting documents. The recommendation letters from the advisors would be a plus.
