The Chiang Laboratory at National Chung Hsing University focuses on metabolomics, stable isotope-assisted metabolic flux analysis, nutrition, toxicology, and precision medicine. Our research aims to understand how nutrients, environmental factors, and gut microbiota regulate metabolism and contribute to health and disease. We integrate spectrometry platforms, stable isotope tracing, metabolomics, molecular biology, cell culture, and animal models to investigate metabolic pathways in areas including liver diseases, muscle metabolism, aging, gut microbiota, functional foods, and sustainable agriculture. Our laboratory actively collaborates with international partners through programs such as NSTC bilateral projects, and welcomes motivated students who are interested in interdisciplinary research, hands-on laboratory training, scientific communication, and global collaboration. TEEP students will have opportunities to participate in ongoing research projects, receive mentorship from experienced researchers, and experience an international research environment in Taiwan.
