Angiogenesis is crucial for tissue repair and the treatment of ischemic diseases, yet effective small-molecule pro-angiogenic agents are lacking in clinical practice. Chalcone-based compounds are of interest due to their diverse biological activities. This study aimed to synthesize and evaluate the pro-angiogenic potential of a series of novel chalcone derivatives and to elucidate their structure-activity relationship (SAR) using computational chemistry.
