Successful TEEP interns will receive comprehensive hands-on training in advanced materials research. The program offers opportunities to develop practical experimental skills in: (i) the design and synthesis of organic functional materials; (ii) chemical purification and characterization techniques; (iii) fabrication of hydrogen-production and optoelectronic devices; and (iv) investigation of photophysical properties using essential analytical tools, including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), cyclic voltammetry (CV), UV–visible absorption spectroscopy (UV–Vis), and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL). Interns will also gain experience with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to assess the thermal stability of functional materials. This training is designed to strengthen research capability, promote interdisciplinary learning, and prepare interns for future academic or industrial careers.
