This TEEP program focuses on bioprocess engineering for biological carbon dioxide conversion. The research topics are related to microbial bioconversion, bioreactor operation, and the development of bioprocesses for CO₂ utilization.
Applicants should provide documents showing relevant academic or research experience in bioprocess engineering, biotechnology, biochemical engineering, microbiology, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields. A reliable recommendation letter is also required. Applicants who meet the basic qualifications may be invited for an online interview.
Selected students are required to participate in the program for at least six months. During the program, each student must submit one written progress report every month and give an oral presentation on their latest research progress. Applicants should be able to write and communicate fluently in English. Students with no relevant laboratory or research experience should not apply.
The program provides a monthly scholarship of NTD 15,000. Students may apply for accommodation in the National Chung Hsing University dormitory. However, students are responsible for their own accommodation fees, living expenses, round trip airfare, and other personal costs. Please note that all dormitory fees must be paid in full on the day of check in.
