Our project focuses on modularization of redox flow batteries for grid scale usage. In parallel, data-driven SoH estimation model is developed to accurately predict end-of-life of redox flow batteries and Li-ion batteries. Waste batteries contain valuable minerals and novel recycling technology is also under development. The duration of the internship is preferred to be 3 months. Students with background in physics, chemistry, and engineering are encouraged to apply. Stipend will be offered based on funding availability, students’ ability and work ethics.
