Our team maintains an collaborative relationship with Tensor Tech Co., Ltd. (https://tensortech.co/), a manufacturer specializing in attitude determination and control subsystems for small satellites. We assist the company in developing and testing its products, which are also applied to the small satellite missions developed and executed by our team. In addition, our team will launch two CubeSats, SCION-X and Koyo, aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-17 mission in July 2026. These satellites will begin performing scientific and technology verification missions once on orbit.
This program will sponsor two interns to support the collaborative project with Tensor Tech and/or participating in the development and testing of attitude sensing and control subsystems, as well as assisting in launch and early orbit operations (LEOP) and data analysis for the CubeSat missions. The nominal internship runs from June 1 to September 1, 2026 (three months). Each intern will be paired with a senior student on the team and will attend the laboratory’s weekly progress meetings. Furthermore, our team will organize courses and workshops introducing satellite systems engineering, space mission design, and related analysis and design tools.
Each intern will be provided with a monthly scholarship of up to NTD 20,000 to support living and transportation expenses. English proficiency and a background in science and engineering is required.
