This program provides international undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to participate in research projects in sustainable energy engineering at National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Taiwan. The research focuses on thermoelectric energy conversion, ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC), and AI-assisted optimization of energy systems.

Participants will work under the supervision of Dr. Chun-I Wu and gain hands-on experience in numerical simulation, heat transfer analysis, and interdisciplinary energy system design. Students will be involved in ongoing research projects, attend regular meetings, and present their results at the end of the program. Outstanding participants may have opportunities to contribute to conference papers or journal publications.

The program requires a minimum participation of 2 months, with flexible starting dates.

Scholarship and Costs:

Selected participants may be eligible for a monthly stipend under the TEEP program, subject to availability and program approval. Participants are responsible for their airfare, accommodation, visa, insurance, and personal expenses unless otherwise specified.

Eligibility:

Applicants should be undergraduate (junior/senior) or graduate students in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering, or related fields. English proficiency sufficient for academic communication is required.

This program is ideal for students interested in sustainable energy, computational modeling, and international research experience.
