This program offers a research internship in Taiwan for master’s and PhD students interested in spatial omics, cancer biology, and AI-assisted biomedical data analysis. Participants will investigate ECM, EMT, and tumor cell interactions across cancer types by integrating single-cell transcriptomic, spatial transcriptomic, and other omic data if available, while attending Prof. Chen’s lab (https://cmjm-lab.github.io/) to develop AI-assisted analytical workflows for precision health research. The program includes weekly lab meetings for research updates and discussion. Additional individual meetings will be arranged as needed to support research progress and manuscript development. The program duration is 2 to 6 months, and visits of less than 2 months will not be considered. Preference will be given to students from those with backgrounds in molecular biotechnology, bioinformatics, computational biology, biomedical informatics, or related fields. Selected participants will receive financial support (TWD 20000 per month) in accordance with TEEP regulations; accommodation is not directly provided, but assistance may be offered, and the estimated monthly living cost in Taipei is approximately TWD 16,800–22,600 (USD 560–753), depending on housing arrangements.
