SEARCH PROGRAMS

This program offers an interdisciplinary research opportunity in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), focusing on enhancing community resilience and preparedness against natural and human-induced hazards. Participants will work as research assistants under the supervision of faculty members, contributing to ongoing projects that integrate human factors, behavioral science, and data-driven approaches to disaster management.

The program covers key activities such as data collection, statistical and machine learning analysis, vulnerability assessment, and the development of mitigation strategies. Participants will also engage in collaborative research with academic institutions, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), contributing to evidence-based policy recommendations aligned with global frameworks such as the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. Additional responsibilities include assisting in report writing, academic publications, and organizing workshops or training sessions for stakeholders.

Selected participants may receive a monthly stipend in accordance with TEEP guidelines to support living expenses. The program typically requires a minimum duration of 2–3 months, with flexible starting dates depending on mutual agreement. Accommodation is not directly provided; however, assistance will be given in securing affordable housing near the university.

Selected participants will receive financial support in accordance with TEEP regulations, including a monthly stipend to assist with living expenses. Accommodation is not directly provided; however, participants will be guided in arranging affordable housing near the university, with estimated accommodation costs ranging from NTD 4,000 to NTD 6,000 per month depending on the type of housing. Additional personal expenses such as meals, transportation, and insurance will be borne by the participants.
