This project aims to develop an AI-assisted fall prevention system that integrates image recognition and home-based exercise interventions to detect environmental hazards in real time and provide personalized exercise recommendations for older adults. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on training, participants will gain insights into Taiwan’s advancements in aging care and smart health technologies, while fostering international collaboration and research exchange.
The program has a duration of three months (May to August 2026), with a minimum participation requirement aligned with the full program period. It is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, particularly those from health-related fields (e.g., occupational therapy, rehabilitation, public health) with an interest in smart long-term care, AI in healthcare, and preventive interventions. English proficiency sufficient for academic participation is expected.
Accommodation and living expenses are provided, approximately NT$20,000 per month. The program primarily recruits students from USA and other international universities in health-related disciplines.
