Applicants should be proficient in either Chinese (CEFR A2 or above) or English (CEFR B1 or above).

This project aims to recruit outstanding university students from New Southbound Policy countries to Taiwan to explore AI applications in corporate disclosure analysis and financial prediction. Using generative artificial intelligence and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), the project examines semantic shifts in corporate annual reports and develops an interpretable framework for predicting future operating performance and excess stock returns. Participants will gain hands-on experience in annual report parsing, section alignment, semantic difference measurement, turning-point detection, RAG-based comparative summarization with traceable citations, Python implementation, and financial data analysis. Through this program, students will strengthen their interdisciplinary research skills in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and finance, while also enhancing their cross-cultural collaboration abilities. A certificate of course completion or internship experience will be provided upon request.
