In recent years, modern medical philosophies have shifted toward real-time, specialized physical therapeutic methods, leading to the rapid advancement of microelectronic biomedical implants, namely bioelectronic medicine and biosensors.

By utilizing microelectrodes for neural localization and signal analysis, along with electrical stimulation to modulate neuronal activity, medical systems can monitor neural status in real-time and deliver adjustments as needed, thereby providing more efficient treatment. The field of key materials and process development is indispensable to the evolution of bioelectronic medicine.

Consequently, led by the Advanced Materials Research Center at NTUT, we have invited undergraduate and graduate students from five universities across three countries to participate in training for bioelectronic materials and process development. This initiative aims to strengthen and solidify Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global electronics and semiconductor industries, maintain our technological leadership, and attract more outstanding international students to pursue advanced studies in Taiwan.
