Henry’s Lab at Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) is located in southern Taiwan, in Kaohsiung—a beautiful harbor city. The lab primarily focuses on the development of molecules based on N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), which are versatile and applicable across a wide range of fields.

Our group currently consists of three international students and eight Taiwanese students. We offer internship opportunities ranging from 3 to 6 months for students interested in molecular design and synthesis of functional molecules for surface and nanomaterial functionalization in various applications.
