We are seeking one to two motivated interns to join our research team in developing a Robotic Nurse Educator. This project is a multi-disciplinary collaboration with ophthalmology and nursing experts, aimed at delivering automated pre- and post-surgical health education for cataract patients.

Project Overview

Our goal is to build an interactive robotic system that provides clear, consistent health guidance. You will be responsible for developing both the robot-side interface and the server-side infrastructure that powers the robot’s intelligence and interaction.

Technical Requirements

The system is built on a modern AI stack. We expect candidates to be proficient in:

Languages: C++ and Java/Kotlin.

Environments: Linux programming, Android Studio, and Visual Studio Code.

Version Control: Git.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with the following libraries and frameworks is highly desirable:

Computer Vision: MediaPipe, InspireFace.

AI & Audio: AnythingLLM, Ollama, OpenAI Whisper.

Position Details

Monthly Salary: $15,000 – $20,000 NTD (commensurate with experience).

Duration: Minimum of 2 months.

Location: Chang Gung University, Department of Artificial Intelligence.
