A. Applicant’s Requirements:
1. Applicant should be in the final year BE/B.Tech. or final year ME/M.Tech./MS/MCA in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence.
2. Should have strong programming skill in Python and knowledge on Deep Learning framework such as PyTorch/TensorFlow.
3. Should have very good understanding of AI concepts, transformer architecture, and attention/Diffusion models
4. Intern applicant should have career plan to pursue PhD/MS program in the same Lab to continue the implementation and research work upon successful completion of the internship. Handsome Scholarship will be given for pursuing the graduate program.
5. Proficient in English speaking and writing.
B. Key Responsibilities:
1. The internship is designed for duration of 6 months, and the training will be project-oriented with intermediate milestones and final deliverables.
2. The intern needs to analyze the 2D/3D medical images such as CT Scan/MRI/TOF-MRA of Ischemic stroke/Heart stroke/Colon cancer patients’ data collected from the hospitals on the real time basis.
3. Needs to develop and implement the Deep Learning models for the segmentation/localization/classification of the images to predict the diseases.
4. Needs to design interactive virtual assistants/Chatbots and application software prototypes for the medical/healthcare Apps using Large Language Models.
5. The trainee needs to work with other team members of the project.
6. Regular meetings will be held to monitor the work progress supervised by the project investigator.
C. Expected Outcomes:
1. Develop customized segmentation/localization/classification models OR Design virtual assistants/application software prototypes for the medical/healthcare Apps using Large Language Models.
2. Prepare a technical report or contribute to a manuscript summarizing research findings.
