Travel expenses are not covered in this scholarship (therefore it is probably financially more friendly for applicants in the nearby countries, such as Vietnam, Philippines, and Malaysia). This program is NOT suitable for Ph.D.
students due to the short period of stay, and also NOT suitable for students whose expertise is materials
synthesis, or characterization. We welcome motivated master and undergraduate students to join us on topics
related to theoretical condensed matter physics, materials computation, and machine learning. Ideal candidates
are expected to have backgrounds in either theoretical/computational physics, chemistry, materials science,
mathematics or computer science.
