Tatung University’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology has been implementing the TEEP program for several years. The internship (TEEP) program has been conducted in our department from 2018 to 2025, during which a total of 16 participants have joined our research activities. Among them, one participant joined the program twice, and another enrolled in our graduate program in 2023.

To further sustain and deepen this meaningful initiative—aimed at promoting international academic exchange and cultivating global talents—we propose to continue the TEEP internship program.

In this round, several faculty members will participate, with research areas including fuel cell catalyst development, photoelectric materials for energy applications, and protein-based biomaterials.

We sincerely invite two students from Indonesia to join our department for a five-month research internship. Students will be able to select a research area of their interest and engage in collaborative research, thereby strengthening bilateral academic exchange. During their stay, students may also participate in our seminar courses and other English-taught courses.

The program is scheduled to run from July 15 to December 15. Applicants are expected to be in chemical engineering or related fields, preferably in their third year of undergraduate study or above.

During their stay in Taiwan, each student will receive a monthly stipend of NTD 15,000. Accommodation fees will be partially subsidized by the university dormitory; however, students will be responsible for a management fee of less than NTD 1,000.
