This program focuses on developing an AIoT-based smart care platform that integrates artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and data analytics to support innovative healthcare and elderly care applications. Participants will engage in the design and implementation of intelligent systems, including sensor data collection, edge computing, cloud-based services, and AI-driven decision support. The project emphasizes real-world problem solving, system integration, and collaborative development in a multidisciplinary environment.
Interns will work closely with faculty members and research teams to build functional prototypes and contribute to ongoing research projects. Key development tasks may include backend system development, API design, data processing pipelines, and user interface integration. Through this experience, students will gain hands-on exposure to modern software engineering practices, AI model integration, and AIoT system architecture.
The internship duration is at least two months, providing sufficient time for participants to contribute to the project meaningfully. A monthly scholarship of NTD 20,000 will be provided to support participants during their stay. However, interns are responsible for their own living and accommodation expenses.
Applicants are expected to be undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Computer Science or related fields. Strong programming skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required. Prior experience in AI, IoT, or full-stack development will be considered an advantage. This program is ideal for students who are motivated to explore cutting-edge technologies and apply their knowledge to impactful smart care solutions.
