International Research Program on Natural Product-Based Drug Discovery

This program focuses on natural product-based drug development, integrating research strengths from multiple countries to establish an internationally influential collaborative team. The research core includes:

Targeting unique medicinal plants for extraction, isolation, and purification of active compounds

Screening bioactive small molecules from natural sources and evaluating their medical applications

Applying modern AI and computational methods (molecular docking, QSAR, ADMET) to predict mechanisms of candidate compounds

Collaborating with pharmacology partners to conduct bioassays and elucidate structure–activity relationships

Utilizing total synthesis or semi-synthetic modifications to derive drug candidates with enhanced pharmacological value

Scholarship and Living Support

According to TEEP regulations, each participant will receive a monthly scholarship of NTD 15,000. The university will assist in finding legal housing, and the scholarship can cover living expenses such as accommodation, meals, and transportation. The program duration is at least two months.
