The theme of this project is "Capture of Carbon Dioxide from Flue Gas in Coal-fired Power Plants using Functionalized Biochar: Material Development and Examination." The project aims to synthesize novel, modified biochar from biomass waste and apply it to capture carbon dioxide from simulated flue gas in a laboratory system. The internship period will be at least five months. The project will provide a monthly scholarship of NT$15,000~20,000. Candidates with backgrounds in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or mechanical engineering are preferred.
