This internship research project aims to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of Epicatechin (EC) in the context of periodontitis, with a particular focus on its role in regulating CCL19 expression. The findings are expected to offer valuable insights into how EC modulates inflammatory signaling pathways and contributes to the prevention of alveolar bone loss in periodontitis. Furthermore, this research may pave the way for the development of novel bioactive compounds or nutraceutical-based interventions for periodontal disease treatment.
We are seeking partnerships with overseas dental departments, biomedical programs, and students with relevant experience for internships. The project includes a six-month training course covering basic research, dental techniques, and data analysis. Interns will also collaborate with industries, gaining hands-on experience through laboratory testing and clinical case collection.
Interns coming to Taiwan will not incur additional fees for learning materials, resources, or space; only living expenses need to be covered. This initiative aims to advance dental research in Taiwan while offering international students valuable experience and fostering collaboration in the biomedical industry.
