*It is a pleasure to invite you to join my research group, through the 2026 TEEP internship program, in the Department of Physics, National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan. We focus on inter-disciplinary topics among physics, materials, and photonics. Our areas of current research encompass the broad fields of structure growth, plasmonics, and device fabrication, especially in the nano scale. We have weekly lab meetings and also have frequent discussions along with collaborators. Students passionate about "optical metrology" and "green energy material growth" are welcome to join our research group through this program.

*This program offers a stipend of NTD10,000-20,000/month as of 2026/04/15. This amount covers the materials and utility fees needed for the research work, as well as the local living expenses for the person performing the research work for six months. Please note that this stipend does not cover the travel from your home to NDHU.
*Regarding this program, we would like to outline a few principles for your reference:
[1] Our TEEP intern program is exclusively open to students who are 100% certain about pursuing a degree in our laboratory in the future.
[2] We only recruit students who are proactive and self-motivated.
[3] Upon joining the program, full commitment to lab experiments (including weekly progress reports) is required during workdays (Monday to Friday).
[4] Unexcused absences are not permitted.

- Fee: 1. The utility fees shall be payed to the university one time upon registration, which includes registration (NTD800) and administration/utilities (NTD1,000 per 10days x days/10 of internship).
2. The regular cost for food and transportation in the area of Dong Hwa University, for a single student, is expected to range from NTD7,000 to 14,000 per month. Monthly utilities (electricity, water, laundry, etc) may range from a couple of to quite some hundreds.
