Project Description This project aims to investigate learners’ experiences and learning effectiveness in science learning. It focuses in particular on how instructional strategies, teacher-student/student-student interactions, and the integration of digital tools may enhance students’ aesthetic experiences of science and their emotional engagement. The project also seeks to encourage students to reflect on the aesthetic dimensions of science, appreciate its aesthetic value, and examine the relationship between aesthetic experience and cognition in learning science. Project Implementation 1. Coursework and Academic Training Students participating in the internship are required to take English-medium courses offered by the principal investigator, such as Research Methods in Science Education and Topics in Science Education, in order to strengthen their theoretical foundations and research competencies in science education. 2. Internship Plan The internship program consists of four stages: (1) Pre-internship Preparation: Participation in training sessions and workshops, including classroom observation, digital tool operation, research ethics, and interview techniques. (2) Curriculum Design and Trial-Teaching: Designing science inquiry activities that incorporate digital tools, followed by trial teaching and refinement. (3) Classroom Implementation and Observation: Conducting classroom teaching and collecting data on students’ learning processes and emotional responses. (4) Data Analysis and Reflection: Analyzing students’ learning behaviors and affective responses, and preparing a final report. The internship provides a monthly scholarship of up to NT$15,000, exclusive of airfare and accommodation expenses. The exact scholarship amount will be determined on the basis of interview performance. Applicants are expected to commit to a minimum internship period of three to four months. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and proficiency in English communication. All applicants must complete an online interview.
