This internship program is led by Professor Shuo-Yan Chou of the Department of Industrial Management, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). It aims to recruit outstanding overseas Chinese and international students who have graduated from high school or above to participate in on-site research and training in Taiwan. Applicants who already hold a doctoral degree or are currently studying in Taiwan are not eligible. Participants will engage in cutting-edge research topics, including sustainable energy, smart grids, offshore wind turbine maintenance, large language model (LLM) application development, LLM-based knowledge management systems, optimization of Robotic Mobile Fulfillment Systems (RMFS), and intelligent logistics. The program provides generous scholarship support to help cover living expenses and research-related needs during the internship period. In principle, the internship duration ranges from 2 to 6 months. Participants usually begin joining training activities after April, including technical workshops and project-based research and development. Applicants are expected to have an academic background related to the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or other relevant fields. We warmly welcome talented students from around the world who are interested in advanced technologies and innovative applications.
