Project Overview Step into the future of biotechnology with a high-impact internship that bridges the gap between academic research and industrial innovation. This program is a premier collaboration between the National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) Department of Life Sciences (Keelung) and Giant Bio Co., Ltd. (Taipei). Participants will dive deep into the world of advanced mass spectrometry, gaining hands-on mastery of proteomics and metabolomics analysis. You will work on real-world applications: optimizing the molecularization of natural active ingredients to create sustainable, antibiotic-free solutions for the global aquaculture industry. For Participants Duration & Schedule - Execution Period: April 2026 – December 2026 (8 months). - Flexibility: While the program spans 8 months, internship durations are flexible. - Commitment: A minimum stay is recommended to ensure you complete the comprehensive training modules in mass spectrometry and molecular processing. Scholarship & Financial Support - Monthly Subsidy: Selected students will receive NT$15,000 – NT$20,000 per month for up to 6 months. - Coverage: This subsidy is designed to assist with living expenses, on-campus accommodation, and laboratory consumables. Participation Requirements - Educational Background: Currently enrolled or going to graduate senior undergraduate students. - Language Skills: Strong communication capability in English. - Priority: Preference is given to students who intend to apply for a Master’s degree at NTOU following the internship. Preferred Majors - Life Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related disciplines. Comprehensive Support NTOU is committed to your success both during and after the program.
