This program invites one international student to join Prof. Wei-Tyng Hong's research team in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yuan Ze University for a 5-month research internship. The participant will assist in developing AI speech processing and voice anonymization systems using deep neural networks and generative models. Scholarship: NT$16,000/month (funded by the TEEP program). A small monthly insurance fee will be deducted. The scholarship is tax-exempt. Duration: 5 months (minimum 2 months). Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a bachelor's or master's program, with working proficiency in Python and some experience using PyTorch. Functional English communication skills are sufficient; fluency is not required. Prior experience in speech/audio processing or generative models is a plus but not required.
