This program focuses on the study of interfacial behavior and structure–property relationships in biofiber-reinforced epoxy composites, with a strong emphasis on the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. By utilizing agricultural waste resources such as biofibers, the research aims to create high-performance green composites with strong potential as eco-friendly alternatives to conventional petroleum-based products in the global market. In addition, the laboratory is actively engaged in the development of green energy-related composite materials, offering students opportunities to explore diverse research approaches across sustainability, functional materials, and energy applications. This multidisciplinary environment enables participants to broaden their experimental skills, critical thinking, and innovation capabilities. Beyond research, participants will experience life in Yilan, a scenic region in northeastern Taiwan known for its natural beauty, local culture, and proximity to Taipei—offering a unique combination of academic and cultural immersion. The minimum duration of the program is 2 months. Applicants with a background in chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or related fields are preferred. Successful applicants will receive a monthly living allowance of approximately NT$15,000.
